Some say it was Benjamin Franklin and others claim it was Thomas Jefferson who made the comment, "Those who hammer their guns into plowshares will plow for those who do not" during the signing of the Constitution .  This song was derived from this comment, hence the Second Amendment.  My Brother Mike Puskarich, 33rd Master Mason, called me in 2011, and he and I collaborated and wrote this song. I then went to Legends Studio in Nashville and recorded the song with my studio band. My band are gun owners and they put their heart and souls into every note. I sent the song to Brother Mike and he said it brought tears of pride to him.  His hope was for every member of the NRA to hear the song and feel pride  I was devastated when I learned of Brother Mike's sudden passing.  This song is dedicated to Mike's strong beliefs in our Second Amendment and to every gun owner who refuses to pound their guns into plows.
